Arch McLellan — Founder & President
With over 40 years of combined military and construction experience, Arch McLellan is the driving force behind CBIS. As a retired Marine Colonel with 33½ years of distinguished service, including commanding roles in Marine Aviation and Special Operations, Arch has honed skills in strategic planning, leadership, and operational efficiency. His military career includes prestigious roles as a Squadron Commander, Group Commander, and Deputy Commander in Afghanistan.
Arch's portfolio features managing large-scale construction projects, such as an $18 million town home development and a $5 million veterans' housing facility. He is at the forefront of implementing innovative technologies like Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) to enhance project efficiency and deliver exceptional results.
Arch’s extensive experience includes serving as the Senior Marine at U.S. Special Operations Command and Chief of Staff for SOCAFRICA. These roles equipped him with unparalleled leadership skills that now drive CBIS’s approach to construction. His unique blend of military precision and industry knowledge ensures every project is executed with strategic insight, efficiency, and cutting-edge solutions.
